Meals of Impact is a student-powered volunteer initiative that allows high school students to earn 15 verified community service hours while directly helping people experiencing homelessness in their city. The program empowers students to raise a minimum of $250 through a self-led fundraiser — like a bake sale, donation drive, or another creative idea. That money is then used to purchase food, drinks, and essential care items. Together, students shop for supplies, assemble care packages, and then take part in a group outreach day to distribute those packages directly to unhoused individuals. The experience wraps up with a group reflection and a small celebration.

Sign Up & Get Approval
Complete your student form, get parental consent, and be matched with a teacher or community supervisor. -
Fundraise a Minimum of $250
Choose and lead your own fundraiser — online or in-person — with support from your school or peers. -
Shop & Pack
Use your raised funds to purchase meals and care items. Help assemble care kits in a group session. -
Outreach & Reflection
Join a group outing to hand out the kits to individuals in need. Reflect on the experience and celebrate your impact.
